Buying Santa pictures at the mall can be expensive. Luckily there are free Santa pictures in Tucson available for those that live on a budget.

Now keep in mind, most of these free Santa picture opportunities require you to bring you camera or use your phone to take pictures. Santa Claus is just available to visit for free and you must take your own pictures.

Santa at Bookmans

Head to your local Bookmans on the dates below for pictures and story time with Santa. More information here.

Midtown Bookmans, December 8th from 4PM-5PM

Northwest Bookmans, December 14th from 2:30PM-3:30PM

Santa at Kohls

The Oro Valley Kohl’s stores has two special Santa events. Please call your local Kohl’s store to verify if they will be hosting their events on the same days/times. Click a pic with St. Nick and get a gift.

Santa at Little Anthony’s Diner

Get a free picture with Santa with when you bring in a non-perishable food item to donate to Tucson Community Food Bank. More information here.

Santa in Main Gate Square

Visit Main Gate Square on several dates in December to meet Santa with his sleigh. Kids can bring their letters to drop off at their magical mail box. No charge for pictures, balloon art, or face painting! More information here.

Santa at the Historic Depot

Visit with Santa in front of Locomotive 1673 during the 15th annual Holiday Express. At this free event you can listen to a reading of The Polar Express, sing Christmas songs and write a letter to Santa. Find more information here.

Head over to the Ace Hardware on 22nd and Kolb for a free holiday event that includes pictures with Santa, cookie decorating and arts & crafts. Find more information here.

Santa at Harlow Gardens

Bring your camera to take a picture of your children (and/or pets) with Santa. Your children also get to make their own Christmas ornament to take home. This even is free and no registration required. More info here.

There are a few more ways to see Santa for free if you are already attending special events or venues in Tucson during the holidays. These places require admission or tickets to attend but include a visit with Santa Claus.

Marana Christmas Express

Head out to the Marana Pumpkin Patch for fun Christmas event that includes riding a Christmas Train through holiday light displays, petting zoo, jumping pillow and Christmas Story Time. And of course meet with Santa! More information and tickets here.
